Hooks for Hearts

The 1st annual Hooks for Hearts Rodeo was developed to raise money for the  American Heart Association. The American Heart Association is committed to reducing disability and death due to heart disease and stroke through their mission of “Building Healthier lives free of cardiovascular disease and stroke.” Cardiovascular disease is the #1 killer of people in the United States. Statistics show that one person dies every 30 seconds from heart disease. 100% of the funds raised in Louisiana are invested back into the state through educational outreach programs, CPR training and certification, placement of automated external defibrillators, and funding for groundbreaking medical research. By entering the Hooks for Hearts Rodeo you are joining the fight to Reduce the Risk of heart attacks and strokes. All proceeds from the rodeo are donated to the American Heart Association, and their mission to build healthier lives and reduce the risks of this devastating disease.
